Tired of Being Tired!

I'm tired..... I hate it when those words come out of my mouth! And to be honest I hate it when they come out of anyone's mouth! Why do we do this to ourselves? Why are we always tired and always complaining of being tired? If we are tired then shouldn't we just sleep?

My hubby tells me that I torture myself some nights trying to stay awake and he is right! Why don't I just SLEEP!! I feel like it is such a waste of time! And I really don't know what the 'normal' amount of sleep. How can we really know?

So my new challenge... is to stop complaining about being tired! If I am tired, it is my own fault and I either need to deal with it or shut up about it! Who is with me on this one? If you catch me saying I'm tired... you are allowed to get upset with me! (Just don't be too mean)

In the meantime, I'm off to bed so I can get up bright and early!

Early Bird or Night Owl?

My husband and I need sleep in very different ways. Over the past little while my sleeping patterns have changed drastically. I feel that I need more sleep and that I am sleepy earlier. When I am getting tired at 11:00pm and ready for bed by 11:30pm, my husband is sitting down to watch a show or do some work on the computer. Meanwhile, I want to get up at 6am but he is still asleep at that point.

At night Jason is always wanting to watch a movie or show, or do something but I'm too tired.... In the morning I am hyper, happy, loud and waking up Jason in an annoying way because of it. Yikes!

What do you and your significant other do? Do you try to match up your sleeping times or do you just deal with being on opposite clocks? I have tried to force myself to stay up for Jason but I end up so exhausted.

Help me, I'm an exhausted Early Bird with a Night Owl for a husband!!
